Session 1: An introduction to standardised tests

This session explores the nature of standardised assessments – understanding how tests are developed to support the early identification of potential barriers to learning. It also covers the different scoring measures and how these can be used to create a common language to use with key stakeholders as well as considerations to take when administering the tests.
